process

While every project is unique, there are key milestones that roadmap the creation of our landscapes.

1. Discovery

Ensuring objectives are aligned is our priority from the outset. Our journey begins with an initial conversation, in which we’ll explore your project aspirations, parameters and opportunities.

2. Environmental

Understanding the land on which we work on is key to success. Our team of Environmental consultants study your site to understand its history, existing natural assets, and legislative constraints that may influence the project. Findings are consolidated to form the parameters and direction for the project.

3. Design

Our creative process is focused on connecting people, nature and the built form. Design is an engaging and collaborative process that explores possibilities, articulates core drivers and visually relays the story. Once conceptual ideas are formed, we move into a rigorous process of documentation, ensuring the intentions for the space are captured in detail.

4. Estimation

Every aspect of the project is meticulously assessed through the lens of logistics, timing and costing. The result is a detailed and legible quotation of the project, which clearly delineates what will be involved in the creation of the landscape.

FAQs

The best place to start is to understand your aspirations for the project. Some points to consider include how you want to use the space, how much time you want to spend taking care of the plants, your preferred aesthetic style. It’s helpful to create a project brief that communicates your project goals, which can be in written form or reference images.

We are dedicated to delivering projects that align with your budget and timeframe requirements, so having an idea of these at the outset is also essential.

Every landscape project is unique, so we know it can be difficult to know exactly what your project may require. If you would like further guidance on how to get started on your project, please email hello@greencareproject.com.au

Project timeframes vary depending on project scale and complexity.

With regular feedback, we typically see our environmental and design phases taking 3-4 months, our construction phase taking 1-4 months and our initial establishment maintenance period taking 3 months. These timeframes are indicative only and the details of each project need to be assessed individually.

Please email us your project brief, and we can provide guidance on possible timeframes for your project.

Your project will be developed collaboratively by our skilled and diverse team, who hold a wealth of knowledge and experience in various facets of the landscape world.

Some of the skills and certifications held by our team include Bachelor of Advanced Biology (Hons), Master of Landscape Architecture, Bachelor of Architectural Design, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Registration, Bachelor of Engineering, Certificate of Sustainable Living, and Project Management accreditations.

We also hold a ‘Builder Restricted to Structural Landscaping’ Queensland Building License which allows us to take care of most aspects of outdoor construction.
